Millions of data points are taken from wearable technology that tracks workloads from training and matches, player injury history, fitness tests, and even sleep patterns to generate daily risk forecasts. Historical data is used to detect data patterns that precede injuries and alert when those data patterns emerge and help prevent the injury before it occurs. From here, teams are given risk forecasts and not only can they identify the type of injury a particular player could sustain if they are deemed "high risk", modifications can be made to that player's bespoke training schedule to avoid the injury occurring.
With the recent upturn in form demonstrated by the hosts and a poor showing on the road by the visitors, it is hard to make a case for anything other than a home win in this contest. We do not believe it to be a runaway result, however, and a low scoring game with the hosts getting the edge appears to be the most likely outcome.
Karim Benzema became Real Madrid's fifth all-time leading goalscorer with a double in a victory over Valencia, which closed the gap on league leaders Barcelona to two points. Benzema, 32, has now netted 243 goals in all competitions for Real, overtaking Ferenc Puskas' tally. Ex-Chelsea forward Eden Hazard set up his first goal on the hour before Benzema scored a stunning late volley. Substitute Marco Asensio scored Real's second with his first touch.
KEY MOMENTS 15’ - GOAL! Liverpool 1-0 Manchester United (Van Dijk) It's been a good start for United . The corner is a good one, into the heart of the box, and somehow Williams finds himself tracking Van Dijk in a total mismatch, while Maguire, whose man he probably was, is too far away to prevent him punishing a header past De Gea.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men seem to find that extra gear when playing against the elite competition, but things are different when faced with the task of breaking a side down. This shows in the results too, with failures to win in six of their eight league games against teams currently in the bottom half of the table.
Stylish Canaries fall short againNorwich last won in the Premier League on 23 November, but they started brilliantly against Jose Mourinho's Spurs. They played with attacking intent from the opening exchanges as Vrancic rolled the exciting Onel Hernandez through on goal, only for Paulo Gazzaniga to sprint off his line to collect the loose ball. That set the tone and Daniel Farke's side pressed their visitors high up the field.

Swansea come into this one with a stronger record on the road than they have at home. They’ve picked up the majority of their points on their travels, while they rank among the very best in the league in terms of their away record. Only West Brom and Leeds have claimed more points on the road than the Swans, with the visitors still unbeaten on their travels this season.
Just two wins, the least number of league goals scored (just 12) and the most conceded (34). Espanyol have gone eight league games without a win, their last La Liga victory being away at Levante on October 27. Since then, they have earned just two points and conceded at least two goals in all but one of those matches.
These would be at risk from any movement of the European Championship and are likely to form part of any agreement. Uefa has an estimated 400 staff working on the Euros. It is unknown what will happen to them if the tournament does not take place for another 12 months. The situation is not made any easier by not knowing when football will be able to resume. Uefa accepts it is impossible to know when current travel restrictions will be lifted, but it cannot wait until they are to draft a plan.
That competition is so open, it could be anyone's - including City's. Guardiola has been experimenting with different formations in recent weeks but I think he needs to start by picking his best team, and stick with it. If he does that, then I don't think City will have any problems creating chances against Spurs - and, if they take them, they will win. Lawro's prediction: 0-2Georgia's prediction: This is a tricky one, it is going to be a tight game but on behalf of half of my family I am going with Spurs.
Like last time, we had chances to win the game. Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes: "The first goal, for me, is not a penalty. It's hit Ash Taylor in the back. He's turned round and kept his hands and arms right in and I'm disappointed the referee has given a penalty for that. It's a good point in the end after being two goals down.
Reims have built much of their success this season off of their aforementioned impeccably strong defence but this has often starved the attack of opportunities. They did score three goals against Saint-Étienne last week but this was the first time they'd done that this season, and just the second time since February. Reims have scored the third least goals in Ligue 1 this campaign but currently sit ninth due to their defence conceding the second least goals of all teams in the division.

Robert Lewandowski has a good season every season but this season is even better than those other seasons. He's scoring at a rate not seen in Germany since Gerd Muller, banging in 40 goals in 32 games for Bayern so far in this campaign. Injury has ruled him out for a few short weeks but he has a number of adequate deputies as could be seen in the 6-0 win at Hoffenheim on Saturday.
Last weekend, VfL Osnabruck surprised many fans by beating a team up to 4 places, Greuther Furth. More significantly, this is a match VfL Osnabruck players have to play away from home. In this round, with the spirit of going up and playing at home, teachers and coach D. Thioune are receiving quite a lot of admiration from the fans.
I am sure Norwich will give it another good go at Bramall Lane to try and make it three wins in a row, but I just don't see them going to Sheffield United and getting anything. The Blades have already beaten them once this season - when they fought back from a goal down to win at Carrow Road before Christmas. Chris Wilder's side are well organised, hard to break down and dangerous going forward and I am backing them to win again, and do the double.
And on a sunny lunchtime at Turf Moor on New Year's Day, nothing changed. Grealish's disallowed goal, which came in the 12th minute and was ruled out following a two-minute VAR consultation, was victim to another marginal offside call which angered fans inside the stadium. Striker Wesley, who contested an aerial ball during the build-up to the goal, was deemed offside by barely an inch - the back of his heel appearing to cross one of several lines drawn by VAR.
Unlike Liverpool, who as Champions League winners go straight into the semi-finals, Monterrey have already played in Qatar. They beat Qatari side Al Sadd by three goals to two, a victory which set up this clash with the champions of Europe and if the last few months are anything to go by, soon to be champions of England.
In a statement on the club's website, it was confirmed that the midfielder had sustained ligament damage in an incident which saw him substituted in the 18th minute. The statement added: "Further asessment on the injury has discovered Fabinho will be out of action until the New Year. The club said the Brazil international will now begin a rehabilitation programme.
Newcastle - who have been safe from relegation for weeks - have been in limbo for a long time because of the delayed Saudi Arabian takeover. They had a dream start when Gayle latched onto Shelvey's opportunistic quick free-kick and slotted past Alisson, who got a touch to the ball but could not keep it out. But that would be the only time they touched the ball in the Reds' area in the first half. Liverpool boss Klopp experimented with his selection in their final game of a successful season - with the front three of Salah, Firmino and Mane as well as right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold left on the bench.
Considering the positions of these sides and the fact that 66% of their combined La Liga games this season have also produced fewer than 2.5 goals, we feel backing under 2.5 is the way to go this Sunday afternoon with a nip and tuck affair anticipated.
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder celebrated the signing of a new four-year contract by leading his team to a 1-0 victory over West Ham United that ended in controversy. See alsoSheffield United v West Ham United - Premier League LIVE After a dreadful first half with no goals and no shots on target, the home side came out with more purpose in the second half, but it still required a huge error to hand Sheffield United the lead.
We sat down this time two years ago in Moscow for the World Cup. How does it feel now, before your second major tournament in the job? We're better prepared as a whole staff for what lies ahead, the realisation that what got us to this point won't be enough to be successful in the summer. So we are a more experienced group of staff for sure, the playing squad is more experienced in some aspects, and in others we are very young again.
According to the Guardian, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is "desperate" for a recognised number nine to replace the injured Harry Kane, who has been sidelined until April following surgery on a torn hamstring. Willian Jose has a €70 million release clause following his contract extension in 2018, but the north London club are looking to negotiate a lower fee.
